I have been tracing my mother's Harrison family back through 19th Century and have found a George Harrison who was married to a Caroline Coomes in about 1841.
I would be interested if any of the subscribers to this forum have any ancestors from this area which is now part of the greater London metropolis but at that time was developing from marshland and farms.
