Jane was probably buried in Bardstown (maybe St. Joseph's as she and her husband donated land for the old church which is where the current St. Joseph's cemetery is now). Yes, I am related to the Coomes folks at St. Lawrence. (Debra, to contact the church, you need to write to St. William's church in Knottsville, which administers the records of St. Lawrence. There are still services at the latter, but they are now a part of the other church, which is more active.) The Coomes I have who might be buried in St. Lawrence are descendants of Felix Coomes (Jane's grandson) and Margaret Head. Are they in your book? (Their son James Enoch, my great-great-grandfather, is buried at Mater Dolorosa in Owensboro, but perhaps some of James' siblings are at St. Lawrence, too. What's the name of this book and how did you order it? How much does it cost? It sounds like one I might want to get for my birthday. <g> I have the baptismal records for the church and someone on the Daviess County discussion list is posting marriage records from the 1840s on. But I haven't seen the cemetery book before. Thanks! Rita
