Currently I am stuck in trying to trace my direct Coomes ancestry. All information I have found indicates my great grandfather was William Albert Coomes married to Mary Ellen Millay on December 15, 1863. His father (my GG Grandfather)according to all I can find is Dennis Davis Coomes married on December 22, 1838 to Susannah Howard. Other then LDS records I can not find further information on Dennis Davis Coomes, which indicate his father is William P. Coomes born in 1787 and married to Rachel ? in 1798. I can not find any where else a William P. Coomes with a son named Dennis Davis Coomes.
Any help or guidance in verifying William P. as father of Dennis Davis would be appreciated, as well as any info missing from the following:
