Both Benjamin Coombs b:1780 at Brunswick, ME and William Coombs b:1796 at Poland, ME(sons of Benjamin Coombs and Deborah Stout/Strout) were among the first settlers in Blakesburg/Bradford. They are listed in the 1820 tax records and are likely suspects to be an ancestor of your Almira. Also in MOCA Series 1, Penobscot, Bradford, Hillside Cemetery: Coombs, Betsey wife of Benj. d. Feb 17, 1830 age 49 and in Mills Cemetery Coombs, William L. d. Nov 25, 1873 age 77 yrs 6 mths Sophie his wife d. Aug 30, 1880 age 81 yrs 6 mos. Charles M. their son d. Mar 18, 1847 age 20 yrs 1 mth.
