Son of Henry Coombs born app 1875 in London, Kensington and Roseanna born Norfolk, England in 1873. Other children were John Henry Coombs born app 1896 and Hilda M. Coombs born 1901.
Walter James Coombs married Maud Ethel Herbert(born 5 May 1903, in Camberwell, London) in the Spring of 1923. They had 4 children, Betty in September 1923, twin boys, John and Walter in January 1926 and Joyce in September 1930. In the Spring of 1931 Maud left not ever heard of again by her children. Walter Coombs worked for the railway for his whole working life.
Lots of guesses about what happened but nothing really found.
Is there still something someone knows from the Coombs family about this mystery?
Walter did not tell his children anything about Maud's family or their grandparents, although in my search I found Maud's mother lived around the corner from her daughter in the first 6 years of her marriage. Did Maud find someone else????
