I have been desperately searching for William Alfred Coombes born in Plymouth Devon in about 1864 for 7 years. I need to have proof of his parents to continue my tree.
I have his marr.cert (1885) which gives his fathers name as Richard, and I think his Royal Navel record that give his birth as Morice town Plymouth but there is no birth cert for him in the Family Records Centre. I have located him in the 1891 and 1901 Census, still in Plymouth, and he is with his wife (Maria Ann Pash) and kids, and the family don't seem to be in any earlier census, or at least I can't find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I can link him with others.
