With a name like 'Hardy', this could be more Sittingbourne, than Maidstone. Can you give us more clues, like dates, places, etc. A number of us have enough data to match any one in Mid- Kent area for the last 300 years, so no doubt with a few more clues we can track your family down. Currently I live about 7 miles from Maidstone, at Snodland, but our Coombers have actually lived in Maidstone and surrounding area for a few hundred years to my knowledge.
