James Coombe and family arrived in Port Adelaide on the “Posthumous” on 20 June 1849. The family comprised James Coombe (b. 1811 Trebartha Village, North Hill, Cornwall), wife Jane Lean and 6 Coombe children: Ellen, Jane Lean, Ann Lean, John Lean, James and Thomas.
