Hi:
For several years I have been trying to locate the ancestors of my paternal grandfather,
William Kirkham Coolidge
b. 31 Jul 1875 in Augusta, Eau Claire, WI
d. 2 Dec 1921 in Crested Butte, Gunnison, CO; buried in the Soule family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Paducah, McCarcken, KY
md. 12 Nov 1906 in Paducah, McCracken, KY to
Mildred Loving Soule b. 4 Oct 1889
Oral family history says that William Coolidge was actually born William Kirkham and that his parents perished in a house fire when he was a boy and a neighboring Coolidge family adopted him and changed his name legally to William Kirkham Coolidge (retaining his original surname as his middle name).
If anyone has any information or clues that may relate to any of these persons, please let me know. Thank you.
