Unfortunately I don’t have any information about my grandfather Kenneth Coolidge’s parents. I remember my father and grandmother telling me that somehow we are related to the president Calvin Coolidge. My information stops with my grandparents.
The only family names and information I have are:
**Kenneth Coolidge (my grandfather) – born about 1880 - died about 1951 to 52 – married Leora Dale Teachman. They lived in Bow, Washington.
**Leora Dale (Teachman) Coolidge (my grandmother) – born about 1880 in Washington. She was ¼ or ½ Indian (not sure of the tribe). Her mother’s maiden name may have been Dodds. I believe she died in Oregon in the early 1970’s.
Kenneth & Leora Coolidge’s 3 children were:
1. Elmer Raymond Coolidge (my father) – born April 23, 1911 in Bow, Washington (on Bowhill). Died in Susanville, California in February 1966.

3. Florence Coolidge
I have a family picture with the following names listed:
1. Ida (Teachman) Harding was Leora’s sister.
2. Jake Harding (Ida’s husband)
3. Emma Green - Relationship unknown, she is listed as an Aunt.
4. Flossie Green - Relationship unknown.
5. George Green - Relationship unknown.
6. Floyd Teachman - Listed as an Uncle. He may be Leora’s brother.
7. Nan Little - Relationship unknown, she is listed as an Aunt.
8. Bernice Little - Relationship unknown, Nan Littles daughter.
9. Ivan Little - Relationship unknown.
10. Alice Morgan - Relationship unknown, she is listed as an Aunt.
My original message:
I am looking for information about my grandparents, Kenneth and Leora (or Leona) Coolidge. Kenneth was born around 1880. They lived in the state of Washington around the Seattle area for many years and had three children;
One son, my father, Elmer Raymond Coolidge, born in the state Washington on April 23, 1911. He died in Susanville, California in February 1966.
Two daughters, Florence and Edith. I understand one lived in Boring, Oregon (by Portland, Oregon) for many years.
