Elder J.M. Cooley was Elder James Monroe Cooley. He was born July 19, 1882 in Alabama and registered for the WWI draft in Auburndale, Polk County, Florida. He died December 1958 in Polk County. His wife was Martha Gertrude Cooley who died October 1967 in Polk County. At least one son, Marvin Clifton Cooley (1904-1988) was born to them. Marvin Clifton Cooley's daughter was Mary Evelyn, who married Garlin Griffin Moore.
