I have posted several photos to www.deadfred.com
The photos belonged to my grandfather’s parents and others that belonged to my grandmother. I have identified some that I knew (?) and I guessed at surnames on some other photos. All photo information I had is listed with each photo.
I am looking for help to correctly ID the photos. Also I am looking for more info on the Shaw family. I will greatly appreciate the help.
My great grandparents were:
Elmira (Myra) E. (Harris) Cooley 1854-1913 and Erwin Cooley 1850-1928 They lived in Ludlow MA for many years. Erwin’s parents live in the “Cooley Homestead” located on the line of Springfield and E. Longmeadow Massachusetts.
Myra was the daughter of Nathan A. Harris born about 1914 and Marcia or Marsha (Daniels) Harris b. about 1921. Myra had siblings – Belle Harris, Elliot Harris and Philo Harris.
Erwin was the son of George A. Cooley 1811-1895 and Fidelia S. (Kibbe) Cooley who died 1902. He has siblings – George E. Cooley, Morris A. Cooley, Billings Cooley, Fidelia Sophie Cooley, and Annie Cooley.
My grandparents were:
Sarah Maude (Shaw) Cooley. 1892-1978 and Sidney Erwin Cooley 1890-1971. They lived in Springfield Massachusetts. Sarah’s family was original from around Southbridge MA.
Sarah was the daughter of William A. Shaw who died in 1915 and Ida Maude (Brown) Shaw1871-1925. Sarah’s siblings were Grace Shaw and Olin Shaw.
Some of these photos originally belonged to Ida Maude Brown Shaw.
I also posted a few pictures of people I believed were friends of the Shaw family – Elmer Bond and Clara Squire Bradway.
