Hi Deb, well if we can't connect with the Ford/Manly, maybe we can connect with Cooley.
My gggrandmother Cynthia Wofford b. abt. 1815 Jackson Co. Ga married Westley M. Cooley of SC.They had two children before his untimely death, Thomas F. Cooley b. abt. 1835 SC or GA. married to a Mary know of one daughter, C. T. or F. Cooley. They are in Floyd Co. GA in 1860 after that cannot find them.
Daughter Doleska Cooley married her step-brother, Isom B. Allen, and had 12 children by him.Isom B. Allen was son of Hiram Allen and Carna Eiland (?).Know Hiram was his father, I'm just not sure she was the mother.
Hiram Allen married Cynthia Wofford Cooley after the death of her first husband. They had 7 children.
I believe that Westley/Wesley Cooley was part of the Spartanburg SC group of Cooleys. That is where the Woffords came from before moving to GA.
