Need help. I am at a brick wall on my Daniel Cooley of Morrow Co., OH. He has a land patent of 1821, appears on the 1830 and 1840 census. died in 1845 at age 75. His wife "Elizabeth" or Betsy on land records, died in 1844 age 55 years. Daniel left a will that only specifically names my grandfather Andrew Cooley and simply mentions "other children." Daniel's wife died intestate. Any hints as to how I can connect to the "other children?" I suspect Elizabeth was Daniels 2nd wife. Also, Daniel had a Jacob who died in 1833 and another son named Gilbert whom I lose track of after the 1840 census for Daniel.
