George PARMER [Palmer] m Elizabeth/Betsy COOLEY 4 Apr 1837 Carroll Co, MO. Did they have son James C. PALMER b 1838? Unable to find the couple after their marriage. Is George related to Claiborne F. and Charles PARMER, all sell land in Carroll Co, MO in the 1830s. I can track Claiborne and Charles, where is George? [Name has many spellings Clayborn, Clayborne, Claiborne, Clayburn, all the same man with middle initial of "F"]

My gr grdmthr said parents of James Calvin PALMER were George and Elizabeth PALMER. Early records in MO tend to spell surname PARMER, but I find later records tend to be PALMER on same people. On 1860 census Atchison Co, MO my James has name spelled PARMER, maybe it was a MO thing. After he leaves MO it is always spelled PALMER

I have had contact with someone working on this COOLEY family and she supplied me with info on parents of Elizabeth -- James COOLEY and Frances MILLER. But, she doesn't know anymore on George and Elizabeth after their marriage, either.

I plan on working on this couple on my next trip to Salt Lake City and would gladly share findings, if we have a connection here. (^_^)
