Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this one. A marriage took place at Whitegate, Cheshire, England on 21st April 1813 between Joseph Cookson and Mary Davies. As the marriage certificate makes no mention of who the parents are and I have two Joseph Cooksons, either of which could possibly fit the bill, I am stuck. Possibility No 1. Joseph Cookson born in Over Cheshire c.1793. He was a saltboiler by trade. Wife Mary. Possibility No 2. Joseph Cookson ch. January 1792 in Tarvin Cheshire, died 11th, February 1822 Tarvin. He was a farmer. Wife Mary. Any feedback at all would be more than welcome. Regards, Alan Cookson. Notify Administrator about this message?
