My earliest Cooksey in one Samuel Cooksey first found in Charles County, MD. Born ca 1650, where ??, married Christain Tenneson, died 17, Feb, 1708/9 (Will, Charles Co, MD)
I am interested in finding more information on a John Cooksey, immigrated to Jamestown, VA ca 1620, servant, Alice, young son, (could this be Samuel?) I did not keep accurate records on the information I gathered so I hesitate to share. If you are interested in what I have, please let me know. I check this chat room every other day or so.
