He was my GrGrGrandpa, born 1801, VA, died ?
migrated to Tn then Cumberland Co., Ky. Married Nancy ?, she born 1812 Va., their dau Lydia born 1826, Cumberland Co., Ky. she married Robert Lawson, date unk., he born in 1824. Robert & Lydia had as least two (2) sons, A.A. LAWSON BORN 1843 died ?, and
WILLIAM JEFFERSON LAWSON, b 23 Dec., 1845 in Cumberland Co. Ky, died 28 Dec, 1939. Cumberland Co records destroyed in 1880's fire. Searching for ANCESTORS SAMUEL COOKSEY, sometimes spelled COOKSIE.
