Issac C. b.1813 married Lucinda Stockstill in McMinnville Tenn. they had John b1843,Thomas J b1844,Levina b1846,GeorgeWash-b1848,William B b1848in Mo.,MaryA b1851,Issac b1854,Caladno b1855,and Samuel A b.1859.Issacis thought to be related to George Washington who married Sarah Foster of Spartanburg S.C.
The Cooksey moved from va to Upper S.C before the revelotion,part moved to Tenn in 1830-1 then on to Ms.and Mo.See what you can find on these,this id where your Samuel fits.Remember the Cokkseys use the same names over and over agian there are so many Williams Issac,etc..Good luck
