This would be William P. Cooksey, son John Cooksey, son of Josiah Cooksey, b. 1764 MD, d. ca. 1853 Dekalb County, TN, and wife Charity.

William and Mary are on the 1850 Morgan County, Mo. Census,
Moreau Township. William age 26 b. TN, Mary 25, b. KY, no children. His father John and mother Susanna are also on that same census.
