I also have a Josiah Cooksey married to a Charity ? They had a daughter Marry Cooksey b. 181 in NC, d. before 187 in DeKalb Co. TN. She married a William Colwee b. 1793 in KY d. after 1870 in DeKalb TN. They had 12 children. Mary Colwell married James Lockhart. The 12 children were: Mary, John, Isaac, Thomas, William, Charity, Ruth, Jane, Martha, Lucinda, Elizabeth and Felty. Please contact me if any of this sounds familiar to you. I have other information on the Lockhart line.
