Hello all,
I have found the maternal line for Harry Simpson Cooksey, parent's Decatur Cooksey son of John and Elizabeth Ann (Curry) Cooksey, Leesburg, Loudoun Co., Va., and Mary Virginia Simpson, daughter of John W Simpson and Mary Ann Adams.
John W Simpson son of French Simpson and Elizabeth Fairfax.
Mary Ann Adams dau of Richard Adams.
Elizabeth Fairfax, is the daughter of Hezekiah Fairfax and 2nd wife Margaret Calvert. William Fairfax Jr son of Hezekiah Fairfax and 1st wife Anne Mills of Virginia.
William Fairfax jr m Eleanor?????, they are the parents of Mary Fairfax who married Simpson Cooksey brother of John Cooksey father of Decatur Cooksey. Does anyone know anything about these Adams???
Hezekiah Fairfax's halfbrother William Fairfax II married 2nd Lettice Adams of Maryland.
Thanks all any help appriciated these families are of Prince William, Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.
