Oops...an addendum. The unknown male child referred to by Mel Cooksey in his reply was John C. Cooksey. He also moved to Montgomery Co., TX. He can be found there on the 1850 census. His wife was named Nancy. They had 5 children at that time, Woodsen, bn. abt. 1840, Sarah, bn. abt. 1842, Mary, bn. abt. 1844, Richmond, bn. abt. 1846, and Mandy, bn. abt 1848.
