Thanks I did have it I am still plugging away at the Cookseys Found Grandma's husbands family in Morgan, Owen Co., Indiana, that is Ray Hixon 2nd husband of Lucy Cooksey-Day, anyway his grand Uncle Jacob D Everly is right next door to Cooksey's in the 1880 Census. That is what I have been coresponding with Mel Cooksey about, he says this line belongs to Shadrack Cooksey, if you have been following us. Do you have info on William Murphy son of Mary Ellen (Cooksey) and David Daniel Murphy??? I think you are the first to have brought him up. I have found a Carr - Calvert marriage in Loudoun Co., Va., and I have e-mailed Mel Cooksey about the strong Reed connection there is in your line and the Oscar Fitzallen Reed bm. for John Cooksey and Elizabeth Curry, I have found out who Elizabeth Curry's mother's maiden name was --it was Mary Ann Kirkpatrick. I dound it on the linked family trees, somebody is really working on John Cooksey's line out there. I accessed this through FTM's internet family finder plugged in John Cooksey. I hope you are well, we all fine here finally getting some rain down here but now it comes all at once we could have used it this summer. Still not as bad in Oklahoma, as it is down in Texas those poor people. Pray it stops flooding soon. Thanks for posting, wondering how you've been getting on you were golfing last time we e-mailed.
