Cooksey is the maiden name of my deceased mother-in-law and she lived in the DC area. While looking for her relatives, I came across George R. Cooksey in the 1920 DC Census District 287, Page 8 on Ancestry.com census pages.
George is 38, his wife Annie C. is 32
Son - George R is 11, Annie C. 10, Charles T. is 8, Harry J. - 6, Joseph E. is 2 6/12 and Mary A. is 1 9/12. All born in DC except wife Annie C.s father and he was born in Maryland. Occupation of George R is Assistant to the Secretary at Treasury Dept.
