To add to my earlier messages: my Nancy Cooksey was the daughter of William Cooksey of SC. I've been in contact with other reseachers and we believe she is (as family stories say) the sister to George W. Cooksey. At least the research liens towards that conclusion. There are several George W.'s so watch out!
