Mrc, all of the Cooksy's were English. Where did you get Abraham LeMaster was married to Elizabeth Cooksey?? I checked my records and find I don't have the wife of Anbraham (ca1639 France-Died6 Dec 1722 Charles, Maryland) LeMaster. In his will, he mentions his wife but does not call her by name.(The year 20 Sept. 1722) He names all of his children but Richard. John, Issac, Sarah.Mary, and Anne. He had previously given land to Richard I believe this is the reason he was not mentioned in the Will.
Richard and his wife Martha had a son named Abraham (1713-1778) Died at Berkley, West Va.. I don't have this Abraham's wife either.
John LeMaster also had a son by the name of Abraham (1715-1781), died at Amherst, Va..
Ralph LeMaster also had a son by the name of Abraham (1770/1780-after 1836) at Amherst, Va. Ralph was married to Polly??. JL Cooksey Austin, Texas
