Anyone out there know anything about James Alexandria Cookemboo/Cookenboo. Came from Nebraska?or Illinois to Indian Territory to Missouri late 1800 early 1900. Settled in Missouri and died Feb 28,1945 in Kinder, Bollinger Co., Mo. Had step parent/step sister Julia Harris(b 1871) who he married and had child Iva born Sept 1896. Julia died 1902. He remarried a widow with children. Family history says that he and a brother came to Missouri because one of them killed an uncle and brother went to Texas and he went to Missouri. No info before Iva was born can be found. Needle in a haystack for the "Illusive James".
