Kim,

There was a book written on the Cooke Family called The Family of Elisha Cooke. I only have some pages of it because the Cooke's married into my Howell family several times. On of the the pages it say Abner, the ninth child of Elisha and Rebecca Egerton Cooke, ws born March 4, 1755, probably during the family's stay at Mendham, NJ. I don't have the pages before that. I hope this helps. If I get a chance to see the book again, I will check. Do you have any information on an Isaac Howell marrying Emeline Cooke?

Didn't this family come over on the Mayflower?
