I am looking for ancestors of John Cooke, Sawyer of Christian Street East London who married Mary Aldrich on 25 December 1809. Have descendants but have hit a wall trying to go back. Amongst descendants are William Cooke, Sexton of Cannon Street, subsequently described as undertaker and Parish Clerk St George's in the East (1864) Thomas Dedman Cooke Plumber, Ship Alley and John Smith Cooke plumber Well Close Square.
