I am also a descendant of Mordecai Cook, through his son Thomas (of "Woodbury").

The elder Mordecai did have a son named
Mordecai, the Honorable Mordecai Cook (1649-1718) who married Frances Ironmonger in 1670. She was the daughter of William Ironmonger and Elizabeth Jones.
