This Asa moved to Pa. 1826, apparently had first general store at Truckville,Pa named Rice and Cooke. His sister had married ( REV.Jacob Rice had 9 children) 5th child and 1st to be born in Pa was Asa Rice Cooke b. 1816) Our family book notes Asa Cooke of 1797 may not have been married but lived near his sister Sarah and Children at an Aunt Polly's (Ruth Bloom's mother) house.
Cannot find names of 1st Asa's children if any but maybe with more of this info it will jog someone's mind! Good Luck.
