well I'll be... Bennett Cooke was my grandfather. With his brothers Les and Grant, they ran trade schools in Chicago in the early part of the century.
I don't know about my great-uncles but I can tell you that Bennett Cooke had 3 children with Lyda (nee) Dalzell: Bennett jr., Peter, and Romona.

I am Blair, one of four of Bennett jr's and Bernice (nee) Walsh's kids along with: Bennett III, Bridget and Bryan. I live in Chicago, Bennett III lives in Rockford, Bridget lives in CT., and Bryan lives in Oakbrook, IL. (He is getting married by the way on Aprill 22, 2000). Bennett III has three boys: Bennett IV, Brady and Brendan; Bridget has three children: Taryn, Neal and Bryan. I remain stubbornly single.

Uncle Peter had four kids with Jane (nee) Holmes: Douglas, Gregory, Bradley, and Cynthia. The three boys live in Northbrook, IL and Cynthia lives in Wheeling, IL.
Douglas has two kids: Andy and (?), Greg has three kids: Katie, Danny and Timmy, Bradley has two kids: Ellie and (?), and Cynthia is single.

Aunt Romona had two kids with Emmett Gatewood: Lyda and Andrew. Aunt Romona and Drew live in Dune Acres, IN, and Lyda lives in New Orleans. Lyda has not married but Drew has and also has a child. (Name?)

Maybe we will cross paths. I have limited access to e-mail so if you or anyone wants to talk to me I can be reached at 773-388-3000. I have the geneology of my Great uncles at home. I hope to talk to you soon.

Blair Cooke
