We have traced my mothers family back to a William Cooke (a weaver) who had a son, William Chapple Cooke born 1833,(who was a seaman) who married Mary Ann Hunkin 2 Dec 1861,they had three children: William, Martha and Ellen. Mary died 12 Oct 1869 and William married her younger sister Hannah they then had twelve children Gertrude (my grandmother) Herbert, Frank, Annie, Hilda, Alfred, Harold, Evalina, Ethel, Ernest, Alice and Howard. Does any of this link in with your families history.
