We have traced my mothers family back to a William Chapple Cooke born 1833,(he was a seaman and his father William was a weaver), in Plymouth, England, who married Mary Ann Hunkin 2 Dec 1861, in the Parish of Charles in the Borough of Plymouth, County of Devon. They had three children: William, Martha and Ellen. Mary died 12 Oct 1869 and William married her younger sister Hannah they then had twelve children Gertrude (my grandmother) Herbert, Frank, Annie, Hilda, Alfred, Harold, Evalina, Ethel, Ernest, Alice and Howard. Does any of this link in with your families history.
