I don't have any information on the descendants of John B. Cooke and Matilda Dunn, but do have a lot on John's ancestors. John B. Cooke was the son of Hezekiah Cantrell Cooke, b. 10-4-1806 in SC, d. 1-24-1859 in McMinn Co., TN m. Mary Wood 10-14-1830 in TN. Their children were: Eliza, Hezekiah C., James B., Mary Jane, William Henderson-1831, John B.-abt. 1833, Robert Fielding-1834, Washington L.-1843.

Hezekiah Cantrell Cooke was the son of William Henry Cooke who was the son of
Robert Fielding Cooke who was the son of John Cooke who was the son of Robert Cooke, b. 1700 in Scotland and Sarah Fielding, b. 1705 in Devonshire, England.
