Franics Cooke/Hannah Cook Connection Help!
Hi everyone,
I am trying to prove my connection to Francis Cooke and need to find proof that William Cook (who married Eunice Corwin), had a daughter named Hannah Cook.
I am really hope that this post will get me in touch with someone who can help me, so that I can apply to become a member of the Mayflower Society in MN or Iowa.
If Linda Loyd is out there also, PLEASE reply too! I saw in one of your posts (well, it was from 12 years ago though) that you have the proof I need I think!
This is how my line goes:
Me> Living Willis>Hazel Dellinger>Eva Smith> Ada Black>Franklin Julius Lamont Black> William Francis Black> Hannah Cook.
William Cook is believed to be Hannah's Father(he married Eunice Corwin as I said). William up until Francis Cooke is VERY well documented. I just have to prove from Hannah ( believed to be his Daughter) on down to me. William's Line goes:
William>Stephen>Jacob>Jacob>Jacob>Jacob>Francis (is I am not mistaken).
My line we believe to be correct, I just have to prove it of course.
I was told that people here could probably help me and I am willing to pay for copies of items that the Mayflower society will accept as proof that Hannah is a descendant.
I think if I can prove Hannah, then the rest on down to me I can hopefully get death and/or birth certificates (I sure hope Iowa was doing death certificates by 1919 when Hannah's son Franklin Julius Lamont Black died).
I am forever grateful for any help!
Sal
