W. H. Cooke (architect) / H. C. Cooke
In the mid-1800's, W. H. Cooke (William Henry Cooke, as I understand it), an architect, married Elizabeth Ann Fenton. He was from Nottinghamshire, England, and raised several children, amongst them, Edward Fenton Cooke, MD., and William Arthur Cooke (W. A. Cooke), architect. In 1890, he moved his family to America, where he eventually took up residence in Galveston and Houston as H. C. Cooke (Henry Collier Cooke) and started up an architectural firm, H. C. Cooke and Company.W. A. Cooke (originally H. C. Cooke, Jr.), took over the firm later.
I am interested in W. H. Cooke/H. C. Cooke's origins and children.Can any one help?
