John & Shem were brothers. Shem mrd Ann Rucker. He was like;ly born ca1722 in Gloucester. John mrd Judith (Booker?). He eventually moved to Franklin Co, Snow Creek, VA.

Sylvania's Cookes were in Amelia just after. James was born in 1750. Thomas, ca1765. Same for Raines. No guess as to Henry Jones Cooke's dates. The "Amelia" land they owned was on Deep Creek & was actually Nottoway.
