Seek to identify which Cooke married Sylvania/Sylvia RAINES(?) by 1750. She gift deeds property to her children in Amelia & Nottoway Counties. Named are:
Henry Jones Cooke(mrd Philby Cheatham); James Cooke 1750-1804(mrd Susannah Angell); ally Cooke(mrd Stephen Wilkinson); Sylvia Cooke(mrd Joel Motley); grandsons Henry Raines Cooke & Frederick M. Cooke. Other possible issue: Thomas Cooke(d1819) of CHarlotte VA & Raines Cooke(d1814) of Charlotte, VA.
