Some more information on Charlie Cooke:
When he arrived in the U.S. he first lived with the Dempsey family in Utica, New York (1927). He later lived in Clayville and finally settled in Ilion, New York. He was the son of Edward and Mary Eustace Cooke, Dublin. His siblings, who also remained in Ireland, were named Patrick, Edward, Margaret, Steven, Christopher, Mary, et al. We don't know all the details, but Charlie and his brothers were at the post office during the troubles of Easter 1914.
