Thank you to all who have replied to my search.
I have managed to find the death record Sarah Jane Cook(e) thanks to Eileen Wilson. It lists Sarah Jane's parents as John Hammond and Ann Martin.Place of birth Ireland. Date of death August 15, 1915 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. Name of informant Benjamin Cook(e). My great grandfather was Benjamin Willoughby Cooke so this record appears to be a likely choice.
There was also a death record for a John Hammond born in Ireland January 29, 1832 son of John Hammond and Ann Martin which would make him Sarah's brother. Still no record of where in Ireland though.
Eileen Wilson also found a record for a James Cooke who died May 2 1898 at the age of 75 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada. Informant Jno. Cooke. I know James had a son named
John William Cooke born 1855-1856 died May 23,1915 in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
This appears to be the most likely choice of record. However, I'm yet to discover the place of origin for James other than England. I will keep you all posted and thanks again for your help.
