Looking for a dad b Va and mom b. Maryland

I have 3 great grandfather James H. cocke who was born in 1817 in Tennesse. Even though it is cocke I am finding it in the census records under cooke, cock, cocks, coke. I know that his dad was born in virginia and his mother was born in Maryland. If anyone has a couple born around 1790 give or take a few years that meets this parameter let me know. Thanks
