Sorry, I have no information concerning Jacob
Payton.
Lydia Cook Hinkle Hutchings was not descended from Abel Cook to my knowledge nor was Abel
Cook her brother. The Abel Cook who was living near Covalt's Station in 1791 and who
was killed by Indians in February, 1791 was
the son of Jacob and Phebe Lindley Cook of
Washington Co., PA.
Lydia was still living after 1832 when she refusd to be the administrator of Gabriel's estate.
