WILLIAM A. COOKE
TILLERY — William Alfred Cooke, 87, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Tillery Baptist Church with the Rev. John W. Edge officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Scotland Neck.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Warren Cooke; three sisters, Louise C. Cooke, Odell C. Weaver and Maybelle C. Hunt; and a brother, James R. Cooke.
He is survived by two sons, Roland W. Dale and wife, Anne, of Engelhard and Terry Lee Dale of Newton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7-8 tonight at Letchworth Funeral Home, Scotland Neck.
Funeral arrangements are by Letchworth Funeral Home, Scotland Neck.
