Help! A trusted researcher several years ago gave me the lineage of Lucy Cooke, born Snows Creek, Frankln Co. VA and who married John Staples Napier 15 MAR 1804, Rock Mount, Franklin Co., VA. Her information gave it as Mordecai-Thomas-Benjamin-John-Lucy. I do know that Lucy's Mother was named Mary as she signed the marriage record. But, several other Cooke gentlemen had wives named Mary. Now I am told by other researchers that Lucy descends from William Cooke II and Joan Roper. Could someone please help me? Thanks for anything you can give me.
