Am trying to find someone with the information about the family of Thomas Cooke who was married to a Sarah..(was it Sheppard by chance)..?
In the 1841 census there is a Rosetta Sheppard living with a Sarah Cooke and her daughter Eliza Ann Cooke..age 1..in Market Harborough,Leicestershire..
Now we believe that Sarah was the mother of Rosetta..She was not married when she had Rosetta so Rosetta Charlotte Sheppard retained the maiden name of Sarah..hense Sheppard..
But we now think that Sarah married a Thomas Cooke and they had a daughter Eliza..I found her birth in 1840 and she is in the 1841 census as I said..but after that we cannot find Thomas,Sarah or Eliza..
Does anyone have them in their records ..Would appreciat any information that you may have..
Rosetta was born and baptised in Market Harborough,Leicestershire..as was her mother Sarah..Sarah's father was Robert Sheppard..and wife Mary Quenby..
