In Snow-Estes Ancestry (Snow, Nora E. and Myrtle M. Jillson, Snow-Estes Ancestry, (2 v.; 1939), p. 105) there is a mention of a Silas Cook who was born 8 Aug. 1736, probably in either Rhode Island or in Massachusetts near R.I. He married Sarah Crawford, date unknown. I don't have the names of any of his children, but wondered whether he could be the same Silas Cooke that you are listing?
This Silas was a half-brother of my ancestor Ebenezer Cook (b. 1722), who also moved to Easton, New York.
