Hello,
I am a newspaper & document collector & currently own an authentic Boston newspaper dated November 14, 1843 with a story about the recent elections. Part of the report is as follows:

Suffolk - 5 Whigs elected - Josiah Quincy, Jr., Jeffrey Richardson, Nathaniel Hammond, Chas. Francis Adams, John C. Park.
Hampden - Joseph M. Forward, and Erasmus D. Beach, Democrats, are probably elected.
Hampshire - Myron Lawrence, of Belchertown, and Benjamin Barrett, of Northampton, Whigs, are elected.
Berkshire - Henry H. Cooke, and Asa L. buck, Jr., Democrats, are probably elected.

I would like to correspond with anyone familiar with Mr. Cooke. Please correspond with me directly at softdsign@aol.com
Thanks,
Joy
