Tim Mattingly of Indiana has written with info on this line. Please email me for his address.
He shows Abraham as son of William, shows Abraham as born ca1721, and as deceased in Wilkes NC in 1801. He gives Elizabeth Cass as a third wife, and states that an old letter reads "they had 25 children...." Probably meant that Abraham fathered 25 kids.
He also has William Cook, jr & Eliza Cook as known siblings of Abraham.
We believe William who died in 1752, Hanover, was a son of Abraham Cooke & Martha Clayton of Richmond & New Kent/Hanover Counties, and that William Cooke had at least one son, Clayton. I would appreciate any info you would like to send and will exchange info as well.
